Patience and Persistence

THE 5 RULES FOR THE GAME OF LIFE

Rule #4 PATIENCE AND  PERSISTENCE

Give yourself the patients and allowance to do a good job, it might take a little longer than you want or think it’s to take. A lot of people beat themselves up because they are in a Hurry. Some of the worst components, worst behaviors and vices comes from Hurry. Being entitled to having it right now. Wanting that immediate pay off without allowing that long journey involving learning and sometimes struggle to play its part. Be cool with the struggle. Honor the struggle. Be patient.  Stay focused
Know that if you are disciplined and focused on doing the things that are good for you, for others, for your business, for your life, for your audience, over a period of time with enough patience, the success will come. The joy will come. To be a learner you have to have patience with yourself while you fail in one area, or not do something right.  Give yourself time to become better at a skill when you get into something and you suck at first. Have patience.

And that’s where persistence comes in. As you are being patient with yourself, you are allowing the universe to align with your dreams, your energy, your focus and your desires but you are also not stopping. You are persistent in your actions while being patient. Like the fighting warrior, you are working, you are struggling, you are moving towards it but at the exact same time, you are cool. Accepting everything right now as it needs to be and continually taking action.

That consistent action and behavior is what gets you ahead to where you want to be. It has to be a rule in life. You can’t just keep starting and stopping at something. It becomes a distraction.  We have to be persistent towards our dreams and be patient with ourselves. That’s when we will see our dreams become a reality.

The Art Of Snow

Looking at a mountain packed with snow, I see this massive piece of land blanketed with a  beautiful clear ,white area sparkling from the reflection of the sun. It looks like millions of tiny diamonds scattered in no particular order. But that's as far as my vision goes. Simon Beck is on a totally different wave length. Looking at that same clear white area, Simon sees possibilities. He has been creating snow art for 10 years and he does about 30 of these art works a year.

Simon, 56 says each of these take about 10-12 hours to do. He does them by walking and jogging through the snow while counting his step. He also uses a light on his head and a compass in order to try and create perfect patterns. The light is used because he typically does them at night to avoid the skiers.

Simon is a Orienterring Mapmaking Expert, which could point to why he likes to produce geometrical patterns. He also says its easier to do because "you are just following rules... You don't have to keep referring back to a diagram"

Most artists that I see, I have the vision of doing what they do. I can say I would not be able to do this like he does. This is truly magnificent to see and a true testament to the phrase "art is what you make it to be".

So be inspired to create your art any way that your heart decides to show it to the world because there are no set rules to describe what Art is. Art is FREEDOM.

Gratitude is my Attitude

Gratitude has to be your attitude throughout your day. Its is a guarantee that there is someone out there worse off than you are. So become aware of your position in life and begin to appreciate what you have. As you wake up in the morning while you are brushing your teeth or washing your face before work, spend 10-15 minutes saying thank you to God or the Universe for what you have. It so powerful to begin you day showing gratitude. Its a domino affect. Start your day on a note of appreciation and gratitude and that will attract more things for you to appreciate and be grateful for throughout you day. It works both ways though, if you start your day full anxiety, worry and feelings of defeat, that's what you will see throughout your day. Situations that brings anxiety, worry and that beat you down where you feel like you cant win or make it through. God never gives you more than you can handle, so why would he give you more if your daily focus is on what you don't have or what all is wrong in your life? You are basically saying you can't handle more and God can't give you more. So work the system, Show gratitude! Open yourself up for more through gratitude and more will come! Gratitude is Always Your Attitude!

Ways to set yourself up to show Gratitude:
~ Make a list of 10 things that you are grateful for on your phone's notepad, read that list 3 times a day
~ Spend 15 minutes every morning going over and speaking out loud all the things you are Grateful for
~ Spend 15 minutes at the end of your day giving Thanks for the things that happened
~ Thank God as soon as something good happens
~ Thank God in advanced for positive things that are coming your way Today
